To help make your withdrawal as easy as possible, our customer service team will be working closely with each of you to assist through this process. Depending on complexity and required steps for your account, please allow up to ten business days for the completion of this process.

Steps to complete a withdrawal:

1. Initiate a request for withdrawal (one at a time, per type of currency)
2. Provide a recipient wallet
3. Complete any necessary supporting documentation
4. Send and confirm a test amount (if balance is $500 or more)
5. Send balance of funds
6. Confirm receipt

1. Initiate a request for withdrawal

Requests can be initiated via the SpankPay dashboard, and will be processed during our normal business hours. In order to confirm your funds are going where you intend, we will be closely monitoring the process, so only one currency can be withdrawn at a time (per account). This means that if you have balances across multiple currencies, each withdrawal will have to finish before starting another. All processing fees will be waived and withdrawal minimums have been set to $10. Balances less than $10 will be donated to the Free Speech Coalition.

2. Provide a recipient wallet

We cannot fix any transactions after they have been sent, so if you are unsure about your wallet or how to receive crypto, please confirm with us that your process is correct.
 In order to receive payments, you will need to have an appropriate wallet (Ethereum and/or Bitcoin) depending on what token is being sent. If you don’t have a crypto wallet, you can easily set up a wallet on Kraken, Ledger, MetaMask (USDC and ETH only), or Coinbase. If you need help with the details, please reach out to our team. 

•  ETH will be paid out in ETH
•  BTC will be paid out in BTC
•  USD, USDC, and DAI will be paid out in USDC. Each currency will be handled as a separate request.

3. Complete any necessary supporting documentation

We will confirm your document status. If you have not completed the required forms already, we will be reaching out to ask that you complete your tax information. Please see SpankPay FAQ on taxes for more information.

4. Send and confirm a test amount (if balance is $500 or more)

For balances over $500, we will first send a smaller test amount and ask you to confirm you have received it by emailing us once it is received.

5. Send balance of funds

Once everything is confirmed, we will send your complete balance to the designated wallet. 

6. Confirm receipt

We will confirm that the wallet you provided received the requested balance of funds for that token. Once the transaction is confirmed, if you have any other currencies you need to withdraw, you can start a request for the next withdrawal.

Processing times will greatly increase due to the additional requirements for manual verification.
