Your holding currency is the currency all your incoming tips will be stored in.  For example, if your holding currency is Bitcoin and your client pays you in USD, your incoming USD tip will be converted to Bitcoin once it hits your SpankPay wallet.

Note: Changing your holding currency does not update the funds that are already in your SpankPay wallet.  It will only affect future incoming tips.

To update your holding currency, follow this direct link and follow the steps (example below, BTC as holding currency):

Once you have selected how you want your payments to be stored, click Save Changes to confirm and save.

USD is the default currency. All payments received will be converted to the value of USD. If someone sends you $10 worth of ETH, BTC, etc., it will remain at $10.

If you select ETH or BTC as your holding currency, all incoming payments will be converted to the value of that currency at the time your payment is received.

If Payment Currency is selected, all payments will be held at whatever currency was used in the transaction. For example, an ETH payment will be held in ETH, USD as USD, etc.

Please note that you may encounter a swap fee if you plan to accept/cash out payments in a currency other than your holding currency.
